The 2nd, "steelbook only" line sounds really great. Looking forward to seeing what comes...
It's a solid "classic" (age dependent) catalogue title that's been tentatively approved for this 1st release. It won't tick everyone's box, and art is rather limited (hence the steel only line), but it is a popular title that many will be happy to have a steelbook for.

Both do. VS is essentially a no go atm, as is anything Cruise. Too much approval red tape for ParamountUK to be arsed with. It's annoying as VS was very high on both of our want lists too.
Who at Paramount (or any studio) does it need to be approved by? As in, the specific department etc.

Thanks for sharing this, I haven't been able to log into HDN on my desktop all day today. (Not sure what's up with the forum)

Flloydo - one of them unfortunately is a no for now but the other is as much as confirmed ok, it just won't be the first one in the new line.

These were only approved end of last week so can't say to much at present but will report back as soon as it's all signed.

The WEA steelbook only will more than likely be the next release with the big set early next year all things being well.

We plan to supply a 1/3 of The steelbook only range to a UK retail store as well as my own website.

Edit - Steelbook only releases won't be offered via GB.

Awesome stuff. I'm liking this release policy roadmap.

The licencing department. If they don't want to licence it to you, you can't have it. It's that simple really. Cruise stuff requires so much sign-off with his team that it's not worth the fuss for a studio. Same story with other high profile actors and directors, so lots of films are "no go's" to sub license.

Well that’s f**king incredible news. Breakdown is a fantastic film. I think that will sell well too plus Kurt is just phenomenal in the film. Had my fingers crossed for a nice release for years

Good old J T Walsh as the bad guy. That dude was an absolute bad ass when he played scummy assholes.
RIP. Died well too young of a heart attack.
