I Will be in your area in about 10 days. Won't be able to do any of the nightlife, but what are the best attractions, places to eat?

I love going into caves, so any recommended in the area?

Thanks!

Unless your really into Country the night life sucks anyway. If you are into Country or just interested in it, then there are some places to visit. Are you driving? I know there is at least one cave in the area. I have to check with my sister to find out where. I've been there I just don't remember. There are also some cool water falls but I don't know if they'll be frozen or not. I also need to check with my sister about places to eat cause I can't eat out accept for like to places. I let you know as soon as I can find out.

We are driving. We've been to the Belle Meade plantation and the Parthenon before, the Jack Daniels distillery and some restaurant that was recommended south of nashville a bit, but I can't recall what It was. Overrated! Thanks for any suggestions.

Are you talking about the Blue Bird Cafe? I've never been but my wife has and said it was good. There is also the Pancake Pantry which she also said was good. I try to get more for you. My sister doesn't seem to be talking to me right now. :dunno:

Okay sites that are here.

Tour of the Grande Ole Opry
The Opry Mall is back open from the flood that was here a few years ago.
Tour of the Ryman Theater
Country Hall of Fame
Cheekwood Gallery and Botanical Gardens if it's open this time of year
Frist Center for the Visual Arts
If you like Civil War sites and Historic Sites there are a few good ones
In Franklin TN just a bit south of Nashville
Carnton Mansion
Carter Mansion which both are supposed to be haunted due to Civil War era
There is also a Ghost tour that is downtown Nashville if you can do only one night it's worth it. A lot of very cool stories that include the Ryman Theater and even the Capital building. Do not do the one in Franklin. I was in my wheelchair and fell asleep during it. :hilarious:
The home of Andrew Jackson

Can't think of anything else right now but if I do I'll let you know. Hope it helps. :D

We are probably doing the Cumberland Caverns, and walking ghost tour.(March1st is actually the first tour of the year), and maybe something else.

The restaurant was the Loveless Cafe.. while good, it didn't meet expectations.

I forgot about the Cumberland Caverns. There is Fall Creek Falls to. Not any caverns that I know of but I nice set of water falls. Ya I never thought Loveless looked good. I was wrong about it anyway. I was talking to her and she told me that she thought it was okay not that she liked it. That's cool that March 1st is the first day that they do the tour. This is the Nashville one right and not the Franklin one?

Good. It's a snooze fest. It has nothing to do with actual factual things that have happened. It was this person told this person who told this person. The Nashville one is really cool and historical. If you ever are near Gatlinburg TN you should look into that one. It's the same company. You wouldn't believe what's gone on there. Russian mafia, brutal murders. Some very cool stuff.

Well the weather sure sucks. We did Cumberland caverns. It was very cool. Didn't have enough time to do the Carnton plantation, and its going to too crappy for the ghost tour. I guess that will go on the to do list for next year.
