i watched this film for very first time! a piece of art! the image and sound are outstanding as for the steel, i bought it since release, i knew i had to have it since i always wanted to see this film but never could, a little bit long but worth to watch!

I feel like not enough people know how awesome this is in hand. One of my personal favourites for sure. Picked it up on eBay for £13something shipped a while back. Agree with Chip about the sick gold embossing, and the bling on the water is something else.

That is one of the most important but undervalued function of this site - evangelization of our hobby. Sometimes it is hard for the new collector and sometimes even for the seasoned ones NOT to be drawn into marketing hype and hoopla. I am guilty of that very often - just look at the TDKR steelbook last year. Warner Brothers pulled a marketing blitzkreig and put out a sub-standard steelbook for a cinematically historical movie.:(

But I digress so I join chip and shejon here in congratulating those who'd secured a copy of this beauty at any cost.

Got one for $20 on ebay.. absolutely cannot wait to see it in person. Seen it on Youtube videos and it is certainly breathtaking. I simply don't understand why the Italian version is not going for more $$.... ????

Yes it's the only version with great gold embossing and you can still get it very cheap.

It's one of my favourite steels and very underrated imo:D

Pure gem, one of my fav´s till today. Bit shame about the text on front, but otherwise it´s perfect - great art, beautiful emboss and cherry on top full gloss, gorgeous wwa steel :oohyeah::cigar::coffee:

Yep I get there eventually. One of those on my list, but not at the top. Got the right one at the right price etc. One of my favourite films, and your right re the design.
Love it :)
