I will probably need to track one of these down on ebay as I had this pre-ordered since it went live however I have had to change my credit card since and having contacted Zavvi to ask if I can change my card details they have stated that it can't be changed and the order will likely cancel when they attempt to charge it.

Talk about customer unfriendly, I only wish Amazon had taken up the steelbooks when play gave up

I think it sold out so quick because of the 'limited to 2000' print-runs were just in and nobody wanted to miss them, but months later Zavvi have milked it dry. It lost it's novelty and fast! I wouldn't be surprised if this came back into stock and took weeks to sell out.

In most cases that may be true, but for this particular release people are buying it up because they need it to finish the set; not to mention it's the favorite of the series for a lot of fans and the cover is classic. Unless it ends up region locked, this one is a seller.

This appears to be locked for region B. This is as described on zavvi as well as the standard amaray release.

I myself thought the remake was okay, but my main problem was you could easily slap any old name onto it and it would be just another horror of today's standards.

Hello mate. Do NOT cancel your order with Zavvi if your credit card details have changed. Sorry if you now know this but when they come to charge your card, you will automatically be asked to update your credit card details and the order will then be processed as normal. It happened with me a couple of weeks back with the Indy steelbooks. The only time you need to worry is if you change address details as Zavvi will NOT help you out in any way shape or form. They are a joke when you ask them a lot of things as its if they dont want to help at all and just give the same useless replies time and time again. Hope this helps though??

It really does help thank you so much for that , my address has not changed so hopefully all will be good as I really thought I was going to miss out, strange they couldn't have told me this but like you said their customer service is simply appalling.

I had a credit card run out when I had pre-ordered frozen. I had to cancel and replace the order - they wouldn't just let me update card details. Just be warned...

Did you contact them or wait until they told you your card wasn't valid? I waited on one of my pre-orders and once they tried to charge the card I got an email with a link to update my card. They won't upgrade your card until they see that it's not valid. They charge your card a few days before shipping so it did not delay my order. If you contact them beforehand they will tell you there's nothing they can do. If you wait til release they email you asking you to update.

I can confirm that is the way they work - as one of my cards was hacked and it got stopped - Zavvi emailed me and they give you 48 hours to resolve the payment issue.
Happy to say something positive about them for a change, as this really seems to work :)

Now, if they'll just resolve the packaging (put foam back in the steelbook boxes, and proper boxes and bubblewrap for box sets), and returns issues - we do NOT have to send them photos! etc - then we'll finally be on the right track.

Are you listening Zavvi . . . .?

So this is still showing as Awaiting Stock Pick and I have not been charged... Is anyone from HDN able to get some sort of response from Zavvi about what the hold up is?

Urgent message received from Zavvi:

"We currently have our senior stockpicker -Russell the 13 year old hamster with the wooden leg - sorting through the multiple orders by hand. We expect he may be finished by Christmas 2016 and hope this does not inconvenience you too much"

Kind of intolerant that you're implying that Russell is incapable of working at same speed as a healthy hamster. For all you know there might be a rocket in his wooden leg.
