Are there Mexican Beers in Norway?!

If not, I'll send you some on your next Candy GB Order! :p

Yes, in almost all grocery stores they sell Sol & Corona. Especially Corona is a pretty popular beer here in Norway.
Beer included in the next Candy order! Oh yes! And that's not gonna be Sol or Corona! :D

Hi spass

Have you ever been on a Fjord ?.

Yes I've been to Geirangerfjorden amongst others;)

Black Metal, a great music genre that put Norway on the map of quality metal, or a bit of a national embarrassment?

Great music genre that put Norway on the map of quality metal without a doubt.

I was really into metal/black metal back in '94 when all "hell" broke loose. I knew many of the people in the then pretty small scene. The brother to my best friend got charged by the police for false explanation to the police when Varg Vikernes travelled from Bergen to Oslo and killed Euronymous(Øystein Aarseth).
He claimed that Varg was home in Bergen at the time of murder, which he clearly wasn't! Another one I knew(I wouldn't call him a friend) did murder a gay man in the woods in Lillehammer where I'm from. It was crazy! I didn't participate in the burning of churches and murders though! ;) But I listened to Burzum, Dark Throne, Mayhem etc. Who knew then that this genre would be Norway largest music export, lol!

Have you seen the Northern lights ?

I haven't, but would love to some day! :)

Hunting or Fishing?

I don't hunt, but I love fishing. I really should go fly fishing more for salmon.
I got this trout a couple of years back which my girlfriend is holding up. Fun!

If someone only had two days in Norway, what would you tell them they absolutely have to do or see?
.

Hmm. Like dominic asked, the Northern Light is supposed to be spectacular. Oslo is a beautiful city in the summer. Go visit Aker Brygge and drink pints of beer at £10-12 a piece!!

WOW thanks very interesting answer!

I totally agree, unlike punk which died a death when the hype died due to fairly bad music, BM really took off after all the problems when it became apparent that the music was superb! I still listen to the more well thought out bands like Emperor, Immortal, Satyricon etc. Pretty much 35% of my metal collection is BM and there are still great bands out there pushing the genre into all sorts of directions like Watain etc.

Nice!

I had all the early Emperor, Immortal and Satyricon albums myself. I actually had quite a collection of BM stuff and I really regret that I sold it off.
Lots of first editions and very limited stuff that goes for high value today. Burzum's EP "Aske" (means Ash) came with a Zippo lighter with a pic of the ruins of Fantoft church. It was in ruins because he had burnt it down! :p

I'm glad the genre is way past church burning and such, because that was just supid, lol!

@spass, What's it like being the father of twins? Tell us the Good and the Bad

I'll get back to you in a few hours with a real answer Matthew:)

Right now me and the girls are watching Liverpool-Brøndby in a pre-season friendly.
