Ask Me Anything - Scottish Ninja

Let's hear your Scottish accent

Pass, I can't stand the sound of my own voice :muted:

Football team you support?

Though I was brought up in a family who all support Celtic, I don't follow football. Except when it's the Euro or World Cup.

So how's married life? Do you drink more or less! :p

Life is pretty much the same, not much to report there!
Though I am probably drinking more as it's tough coming back from a long honeymoon, I've still got 6 bottles of champagne to work through! :smashed:

I was gonna ask that Franky . Hi Justboy

Of all the movie's made what is the one you know you are to grown up for but you will watch anyway?.

There's a live action disney film called Sky High that is definitely aimed for kids that I love to watch. I can't even blame nostalgia as it only came out in 2005!
Though it has got Mary Elizabeth Winstead  and Kurt Russell hamming it up, so it does have some redeeming features!

Really? I think Scottish/English accents are interesting.

I suppose they would if you don't hear them all the time!

Scottish Independence, Yes/No or couldn't care less?

Now that's a loaded question!
I'm pretty much undecided to be honest, I'm leaning towards yes but I keep changing my mind. I usually avoid talking about the referendum with anyone who is strongly opinionated about it, as some folk are very single minded about their own views.
I was surprised to learn that my friends and family are quite evenly split on which way they will be voting, so it could be a very close vote.

I hope you go Yes then I can move to Scotland and have a SENSEBLE Government. My two peneth thire I LOVE your country Fab People , places and a warmth that leaves you wanting more. Anyhoo back on track Jusyboy.

What is the thing that inanimate object that makes you feel happy when you think of it ?.

haha good answer. Nope wasn't loaded, just curious. I'm a Scot but have been living for the last 28 years south of the border in Saxonland, but I still have been following whats going on.

As a fellow Scot I would hope you vote NO, Scotland does not have the resources to possibly look after itself we would be bust in no time. The fairy stories that continues to promise people, with what money? From where? It would be a disaster.

That's always nice to hear when people like the scots! :D Though I think most British and Irish tend to be pretty welcoming.
I suppose that's what a the yes campaigners are hoping for, a smooth transition to independence and more say on how we run things. It's a risky thing to do though!

Hmmm... that's a tricky question. My gig ticket collection is something that has a lot of memories and sentiment attached to it. I like to go through them every now and again, just to remind myself of fun times. I'm not sure if I own something that would cause me too much heart ache if I lost it. I should probably make my answer my wedding ring!

Do you drink irn bru ?

I can't remember the last time I had irn bru to be honest, I don't hate it, I just don't really drink too many fizzy drinks. I do LOVE haggis though! :D
Have you tried it?

It's a shame you don't get to have a say then. The voting system is a bit strange. A friend on mine who has recently moved to London now won't get a vote as she doesn't reside in scotland anymore, and she's pretty peeved about that.
