Here we go, scalloped potatoes are also called gratin, and dauphinoise potatoes are called gratin dauphinoise. Dauphinoise potatoes are a variation of scalloped potatoes.

@Flash Hippopotams I AM ONE I'm better in water than on land . Love swimming adore it . Two miles in our local pool when I go on my own. Walk to shops is a chore . If I could swim everyhere I WOULD NOT NEED A CAR.
