How many movies including amarays & steelbooks do you own?
I'm just shy of 900 BDs and roughly an extra 200 DVDs
Off the top of my head 'The Secret Life of Walter Mitty' springs to mind. It just kinda said to me if you want to do something, go out there and do it and that people can surprise you, no matter how small in the world you feel.
Who would I cast in a Terminator 2 remake? Wow....... now that's a toughie! I'd like to think it would never be remade but with the way Ho$$ywood is now you never know!

Hahaha busy planning a wedding and working. Hadn't seen these threads really until I started my thread
Alex, I got into collecting movies thanks to an old friend. He loaned me a VHS for a movie called 'Police Story 2', he said to me watch it and you'll love it! Without knowing anything about it and not really being into movies at the time, I watched it and absolutely loved it. Of course after that I was instantly hooked on all Jackie Chan, Sammo Hung, Yuen Biao, Donnie Yen and Bruce Lee movies. I then joined an internet forum called 'Bullets & Babes' which was my first ever foray into forums but also opened my eyes up to sales and trading. I think within 6 months I had a plethora of 80s martial arts and Kung-Fu DVDs and VHS and had quite the collection then. I then wondered over to the western world of action movies which I then at the time had a proper man crush on Jean-Claude Van Damme (which I still do today in all fairness, @bigrob will tell you) and made it a mission to own all of his movies (and even the soundtracks too!). I think this is why I love a lot of the crap that I do
Also, my first ever part time job was for a UK company called MVC.... they were like HMV and Zavvi only better
Because of working there I used to get staff discount (25% off) so a lot of my money used to get spent there on DVDs, especially when sales hit.
Then Blu-ray appeared so I started to replace all my DVDs with BDs leaving the DVDs with the ones not released on BD (most of them are still my Kung-Fu collection and that's how my collecting days started.
Also, my first ever part time job was for a UK company called MVC.... they were like HMV and Zavvi only better

You enter a glass lift in a busy hotel inside your surprised to see the rock. He nods and says hi . You naturally day hi back . It's quite for a bit and the lift starts to move .
It then stops it's stuck . You look at the rock about to make small talk but he gives you the raised eyebrow and the impression that he doesn't want to talk .
It's quite for a few minutes as you look out side through the glass at all the people in the lobby looking up at you thinking wow he's lucky stuck in with him .
Then
All of a sudden the rock let's ripp a MASSIVE fart it shakes the windows. It stink like rotten eggs
He then shouts
CAN YOU SMMMMMEELLLLLLL WHAT THE ROCK IS COOKING
And stares right at you
What do you do ?
