Warner officially announced plans in a trade ad (pictured above) to bring FOUR action films starring Sylvester Stallone to Blu-ray Disc on August 16th. The films are as follows (in alphabetical order): “Assassins” (from 1995), “Cobra” (from 1986), “Demolition Man” (from 1993) and “The Specialist” (from 1994). Tech specs for these all include full 1080p Hi-Def video and DTS-HD Master Audio sound — presumably in 5.1 configurations, but that’s just speculation.
•“Cobra” will include an Audio Commentary featuring the Director and a “making of” featurette.
•“Demolition Man” will include an Audio Commentary featuring the Director/Producer.
