Thanks for that. Useful to know the different companies that are/aren't. I knew about Warner from experience but I didn't know about the others Weird that Sony discs are region free but their players aren't. Basically I need an Oppo

Like Blu-devil says, the extended was region A and B, so there are occasionally exceptions to the rule, however 99% of the time Fox are region locked. So are Studio Canal, Anchor Bay and Columbia (which is weird because they are Sony). Basically most of the large distributes are region free (except Fox), and then the smaller ones such as Arrow and Shout Factory etc. are locked

I use to be OK, i had a region free player up until around 2 weeks ago when it just stopped working completely. It might be the fuse inside the player as it's not the plug, but then again it could just be dead

Can anyone confirm the print run for this and if any other Countries in the Asia region are getting this? So far we have Korea with a 300 print and HK. That would leave HK with at least 2700.

Would like an answer to this as well, anyone?

To be honest i'm not certain with Studio Canal, maybe it's just UK releases which are region B locked then and everywhere else it region free. The Kimchi T2 is region free, but then again that particular release wasn't distributed by Studio Canal... Oh well

Yeh, my player was modified which is a pain to replace
Would love to see an extended 3D release but don't think they ever will, so i guess this is the next best thing, a 3D steel with clean back and inside (if it's the same as Korea). The Korean one is region free so its looking good that this might be as well, but the extended steels had different region coding for each country so maybe not

I just been to one of the HMV stores. They had about 10 copies left. I doubt HK has been allocated 2700 copies.
