I have both I Robot and Titanic and they're not matte, they're gloss. It's similar to the Asian Hobbit 3D Steelbooks (matte) compared with France's lenticular (gloss) :dunno:

I have both too and they are definitely matte. Not the crappy cheap matte Fox used on their UK waves, more like the type of matte finish Paramount use in the UK, but still matte nevertheless.

this steels definitely matte bro.. idk about titanic and irobot but from the unboxing videos ive seen at least titanic seems to be matte as well..

I actually just checked my other two there again. You were right, I robot is indeed matte but Titanic is glossy. Apologies :emb:

So many Steelbooks, getting them all mixed up in my mind!!

Yes, I thought most of paramounts were glossy? Anyway, I guess we should get back on topic :emb:
 
This is one of the nicest steelbooks that I have in my collection.
Nice lenticular magnetic cover and the blu ray has 3D and 2D version.
it is completely sold out in germany, only available from private sellers
