Got my e-mail back from amazon.co.uk confirming my GBP £4.50 refund. :oohyeah:

I thought the book was nothing special really, so that's fine for me. :)

Ah so the 10% refund was based on normal selling price rather than the lighting deal price - think we all thought it was £1.50 refund, so may as well get the book.

Kind of weird how they did it Ant, but I won't complain. :D

After seeing this I decided to also go for the refund. However, they only credited me £1.65. So either you got lucky, or I got unlucky and they messed up. :dunno:

Never mind though. I already have the book, and I have to agree... it's nothing special.

Now I'm confused... I woke up this morning to another email from Amazon saying they've refunded me a further £1.66. So now they've refunded me £3.31 altogether. However, further down the email they state that I should have received £3.77 in total. God knows how they're working this out.

At this point folks, I'd almost see if you can still get the refund from amazon, and then apply those funds to buy the book on your own.

Just a thought. ;)

I forwarded them the actual email as it had nothing private on it and shows it came from Amazon. To date I have heard nothing although I was a little late it taking it up but still expect them to honour it.

I have a proper version with the book and there is an additional "band" under the shrinkwrap around the book and Steel, with the cards between the two.

I received a response of sorts. I intially forwarded the email to Fox and asked what info they needed.

The reply asked me to forward my address datails, which I did. It seems that they do pick up mail. Redemption deals commonly say allow 6, 8 or even 12 weeks for delivery. I can't see this being any quicker, after all Fox are making nowt on it.

I forwarded Amazon's email to Fox with my address as soon as i received it but still haven't heard from them :ohno:

I received a response this morning:

Apologies for the delay in replying to your previous email, your details have been logged and we will shortly be shipping the book out.

I do apologise for any inconvenience that this has caused.
