wow, I dont feel so optimistic about receiving my 2 copies anymore. that sucks... no choice but to hit up hmv for a exchange I guess seether.

The 2 I per-ordered came this week both flawless but thanking the steelbook gods that they made it in that ****** box (live in Canada) lol just need to put a lil bubble wrap god. just cheep I guess

My replacement copy arrived today. No slashed spine this time but a nice big dent on the front instead.

It's a good thing HMV made a ton of these because a lot will be going in the skip!

Mine came today in great condition except for a very small slash in the middle of the spine. But more than that, for anyone who opens these, I really HATE the glue they are using to attach the J-card. It's way too strong and wants to stick to both the steelbook and the cardboard. Had same problem with some from play.

Had the same issue with some of the MoC releases......and the worst culprit, "King of New York", (Arrow).

2 out of the 3 I ordered arrived mint. I'm very happy about that, especially since one of the boxes looked kinda beat up. Still haven't received the third copy yet. Hopefully it arrives soon and safely like the others.

What I don't understand is, if I ordered 3 copies (like a lot of other people) why not just ship them in ONE package with a little bubble wrap?!?! Wouldn't it be cheaper to do that than to ship them all seperately and then getting returns from all the damaged ones?!? No wonder they raised the price now!

That's the way HMV have always packaged. I don't really know why they do it either, it would make much more sense to post in one box than separately.

HMV shipping method is idiotic. I've had a few items not arriving lately even after waiting for 21 days. Most likely stolen because they offer no tracking etc and the little boxes are harder to trace than one big package. I also don't understand why they don't just ship items together in one box instead of sending them in small puny boxes. Or worse: bubble plastic.

Received mine yesterday. Shipped to the USA. Came in a box (no additional padding, such as foam or bubble wrap though). Everything seems fine to me. No scratched spine. No dents. No dings. Not bent.

Phew.
