also pre-ordered today and ended spending over £100 on pre-orders for the next couple of months, but may cancel once i find out if the US or canadian steelbook of THE AVENGERS is region free and also include the 3D version. one that annoys me about HMV exclusive steelbooks well the marvel ones at least is there never include the 3D version.

Same here buddy , on the upside i pre-ordered mine at the low early price of around 18 € mark i think talk about triple dipping and the Fs viva version

OK it's great that you are selling an Avengers Assemble Steelbook, but I have to stress what Steelbook collectors do not want.
We do not want a blue band at the top.
We do not want age ratings printed on the steelbook, please make them removable.
We do not want writing all over the back of the steelbook, please put it on a card so we have a nice picture on the back just like Thor and Captain America Steelbooks.
What we do want is great inside artwork. The reason I am writing this is because this is being distributed by Disney and not Paramount, and Disney's previous UK Steelbooks have been very disappointing. I am not the only one who wants this, you are more than welcome to consult with other customers on Hidefninja.com or other forums. I hope you can give us a great steelbook that's as good as Thor and Captain America.

I dont mind a blu banner as long as it is like the original blu banner of a couple years ago. I am tired of seeing them put in the egg banner in the middle of the blu banner. I guess thats the only way I can call it. The blu egg banner. Its pretty much on almost all releases going forward in the artwork lately. Its a eyesore.

HMV say on twitter this will just be a single blu ray and not double/triple play.
I'm not bothered as I never use the dvd/digital copy anyway. I guess it probably wont include the 3d disc either

I'm not on Facebook unfortunately but it's a great idea, am on twitter though so will make my voice heard that way instead. I'd imagine the final design decision ultimately lies with Disney and not HMV but if it worked for Sherlock Holmes 2 then it's worth a shot

It is good that studios are listening, Fox's recent Play exclusives are head and shoulders above their previous efforts, weather Play themselves had an influence thru customer suggestions/ forum posts or it was Fox themselves I dont know but someone somewhere is listening...

..Now if only the mouse would listen too....
