Don't ge me wrong....I love the design.
Especially if the cover is embossed.
And I like the spine too.
I just find it comical that the only other steels that have this in common are Smurfs & TinTin.

Yeah I had Tin Tin but the spine haunted my eyes every time I looked at it ... So it went to evil bay

I'm surprised this one is getting so much attention - i suppose it helps when the whole 'Assemble' wording isn't mentioned on the front

I'm jumping on it because of the clean no title look. I wish more steels had no titles on the front.

Hey there's nothing wrong with Smurfs and Tintin, Tintin is an excellent movie, really fun and a typical Spielberg movie and the Italian smurfs steel (I puffi) is a nice limited edition one, alright the film is a bit ****, but everyone's got some **** films in their collection, which they bought just because they are collector's!

I really like the picture spines I think there different, interesting and they also make finding the films a lot easier, especially when you have a big collection of steels, I'm really glad they have done this pictured spine for the Avengers :0)

So unless this comes out in the US, I'll most likely be ordering this version. My question is, what is HMV's packing like these days? Have they updated it to compete with Amazon and Play?

Also, what do they do with an order that contains multiple pre-orders that come out a month or two apart? I'd like to also order Jaws, ET, and Total Recall along with Avengers. Will they wait to ship them all with the one released last or will they parse them out as they are released like Amazon does?

Last I heard, HMV has not upgraded their packaging.

It has always been my experience with HMV, no matter how many items are on your order, they will each be shipped out separately in their own cardboard box, at the time of their release.

In terms of cost, it's much cheaper to order from a place like amazon.co.uk that will combine shipping and remove the taxes from the items in your order.
