It took my not getting Captain Marvel and Infinity Wars (and ending up on Fleebay) to learn that lesson.

Yes, GB's help a lot. I never had issues preordering from their site though and usually orders were placed in about 20 seconds. But this time there were just too many connections, because it was Endgame. I mean I don't think the next Exclusive will crash their servers if it's not a mainstream movie

That was the same excuse they used for CM as well wasn't it?

Something along the lines of "we've detected manufacturing defects on the steelbooks during the QC process and need to wait for them to be reprinted".

Yes I automatically think Cine whenever I see 'CM' as they too have yet another delay but yea it makes sense now.
