Or am I missing something?

I mean, I have been waiting for a lovely blu-fans one click to match IW but might go for one of these lenti's and swap the 3d for 4k from the zavvi Steel I have...Endgame need a lenti (to be honest am still needing 3 lentis to replace the plain steels for AMATW, Cap Marvel and Endgame movies from the Infinity Saga)

Correct, no 3d. Same goes for Captain Marvel. I'm not even sure disney are releasing 3d discs in asia anymore, which might be why.. annoying, but it's hardly unexpected.

They did indeed. They mentioned it back when IW was announced, along with EG. I don't think they gave an order, but it didn't surprise me to see EG turn up first.

Covid already giving many people headaches and dizziness. We don't need no stinking headaches & dizziness from watching 3D. Just one reporter's opinion.

I’d rather not pay for all discs to be honest. And I personally don’t need 3D anymore. If it keeps the cost done then so be it

I expect with every premium release we get a 4K disc, 3D disc for movies that have 3D and a reg bluray disc.
Preferably with a bonus disc with a sh*t ton of extras (like Arrow does they use every MB possible to fill it with extras)

If that were the case I would always go for the empty One clicks and full slips

It only took 1 hour for you to go from wanting all discs to wanting no discs

Ive never understood the point with a release containing both 4K and normal blu-ray. I mean, if you can play the 4k, you will never watch or use the normal blu-ray anyway.
The difference with 3D disc is that its a different experience. I dont like 3D at all, but id much rather have a 4K+3D than 4K+2D, IF i sometime want to watch it in 3D.

@dLux a lot of people can't afford to buy a UHD blu-ray player/system when they're spending about £60-90 per premium edition of a movie, so still have regular blu-ray players... not me... yep, not talking specifically about me at all

i feel similarly, but i haven't seen many 4k discs that include all of the bonus features/supplemental material from the 2D disc to fully negate keeping the 2d disc.

i presume since the special features are usually mastered in SDR at 1080p they would compress even better with the HEVC codec on the 4k disc and take up less disc space and still leave room for more language tracks

i think its a cost-cutting measure. not sure if a majority of UHDs are authored to fill a BD100. maybe just very long movies like Endgame, Lord of the Rings, hobbit, etc where extras wouldn't fit anyhow. besides also being able to market and sell them in packages without 4k discs, keeping the extras exclusive to the 2d disc saves juuuust a bit on upfront manufacturing costs for 4k discs by using BD50, BD66 etc

I am really glad I got this one. That look fantastic.

I didn’t order A2 (I did get the OC), but it looks great too, as does B2. I got a B1, and I love the back, but not so sure about the Lenti. All in all, this looks like a great release.

Damn they look amazing. Was set on A1 being best out the 2 but now I’ve seen A2 it’s a tough choice. Glad I went with one-click
