Well, it’s no easy answer actually ..
In the boxset there’s what looks like a gift card with 34,99€ on it, but exclusively to buy the Endgame Fnac Special Edition .. You can’t use it for anything else, it’s locked.
When I buy these kind of pre-reservation boxset, I usually go directly to the Fnac store, grab the steelbook and pay with the card, but I really don’t know how they handle their stock.

EDIT : I called Fnac, and their system is not smart at all (what a surprise ...). Because the edition is out of stock online, the only hope you can have if you want to use this gift card is to pray that there will be more stock online on the future, or that they will have some copies in the store itself.
So basically, they are selling pre-reservation boxset without securing stock for people who buy this box ... They’re just selling a gift card you can only use for something you cannot buy anymore, that’s dumb, that’s Fnac ..

That is stupid service. No doubt an attempt to get people to rush to buy them but how can they not think that through properly and make sure steelbook stock is allocated to the customer based on purchasing the boxset?

Just put the Endgame in the set so much easier.

I hear some people have been quite moved by the film and have shed a tear or two.
I just don't get how people can get emotional enough to cry at a super-hero movie.
You maybe cry during a movie like Schindler's List but not a super-hero fantasy movie, right?
Or am I too cold-hearted?

I didn’t cry, but I was close (and prior to seeing it, I thought all that talk of crying was silly, because, as you said, it’s a super hero flick.

Unless the policy of Fnac has changed, the card is valid for any other Blu-ray (for 12 months) and is not exclusively reserved for the purchase of the steelbook. This has always been the case.

We can never be sure with Fnac, but you may be right !
I said that because it’s written on the back of the card : « This card can be used in one go for the exclusive purchase of Fnac’s AVENGERS ENDGAME Edition. ».
But yes, the Fnac Support told me that if no remaning copies were available at lauch, this card would work as a regular gift card.
