Paramount have always put out steelbooks with great finishes.....

Iron Man, Iron Man 2, The Transformers movies, Pain & Gain, TMNT etc....
Yes, historically, I'd agree. That was a long time ago though. Last few years not so much. They've done away with 'bossing near enough entirely, and many of their UK/EU steels now have the horrible habit of being matte/zero vs US gloss counterpart.

Definitely hit or miss with most studios nowadays. Although, Top Gun Maverick had a decent finish, did it not?

It did. Both variants were glossy, which tend to be paramounts go to when the steel isn't black. All the recent matte examples I could think of oddly enough were of black steels though haha

Examples of recent EU paramount steels that have a sh!t finish vs the US?

Indiana Jones x4
Scream 1, 2 and 5.
Cloverfield
Event Horizon

There are probably more..

We can also remember that Indiana Jones steelbooks had sh!tty artwork on a first set, with a sh!tty box, before a second batch with better artwork and the sh!t finish.

It seems Paramount has mastered in sh!t. :wtf:

It's still £35
Sorry. Not worth it. Obvs trying to recoop lost box office revenue.
No mass market steel should be over £30 UK.
Maybe it'll drop?
Probably not.

I think all of paramounts recent "new" releases have been £35. As was cloverfield, which was completely ridiculous.
