Fan-don't-we have a wide variety of members with different ages on the site. Film changes all of the time-all we can do is catch up with classics and new releases alike. I never saw the sequels to BTTF, and the last time I saw this movie was eons ago. Time to test drive 'em:)

Seeing all these posts of "have to get", "classic", "grew up watching", etc I feel like the outcast since I have never seen these :ugh: (I own them, just haven't watched them yet :p)

You and me both FoG. I haven't seen any of them. A few times I come across much talked about classics that I have never seen and its simply because we were either too young or not alive at that time, lol. The other big one with me was that my parents didn't really believe in watching movies when I grew up as weird as that might sound. They always sort of kept us kids busy with sports and stuff so believe it or not I only started really watching movies after I graduated from high school so I missed everything prior.

I even went back to watch some of them and to be honest all the excitement that everyone else shares for them just ended in "that was boring" for myself. Its one of those things where you had to have watched them when they came out to really still love the movie because you understand the magic it created when the movie came out.

While there are other classics that are still great and if someone were to watch them 30 years later for the first time they would still be amazing.

While all movies are a subjective matter I strongly believe that there are "classics" and then there are "timeless classics". I watched Shawshank Redemtion for the first time a month ago and it was just amazing making it a "timeless classic" for myself. I also just watched Dusk till Dawn only a month ago and aside from a couple scenes it was just awful!

Again moves are 100% subjective so YMMV.

how old are you???...:hilarious::hilarious:

I'm 20 (born in 1991), so I wasn't yet alive when any of the 3 BTTF movies released (that will be my excuse :))

For sure, I've been trying to catch up, just watched Jurassic Park 1-3 and Alien 1-4 for the first time last month actually (I believe you are a big Alien franchise fan :oohyeah:)

Sounds like we had very similar upbringings. Apparently having a childhood with minimal movie exposure results in compulsive and obsessive movie collecting once we get older :p

Please watch, man! I'm sure you will not regret.
Based on the posts in this thread I should enjoy them :)

Somebody ban this guyEEK!
that's harsh :p

no doubt eh. We love them steelbooks and blurays!

I was not born for the first one and was 3 years old for the second one and 4 years old for the 3rd one, lol. Have not seen and don't plan on it either.

90% of this wave is garbage. Horrible covers. Big waste of our time and money. im looking for different art on them, not the same old crap that you would get on cheap looking DVD and Bluray cases
my vote Garbage
