Bambi - Slashed Spine!

Hello Everyone,
Not happy with Zavvi and really not sure how these managed to get slashed in the first place.
If Zavvi would like to come on here and explain??

Apart from the slash the steelbook looks gorgeous.

Man has visited the moon and the deepest of oceans.

Yet it seems to be well nigh impossible to get a steelbook release out to the market so that none of them would have slashed spines

Easy to understand how they happen (multi-item cardboard box packaging tape is cut through with a knife), but just as easy to see how they can be avoided (just don't cut through the tape end-to-end).

Amazing how merchandise in perfect condition gets destroyed in this manner year after year.

Still waiting for my Bambi, hopefully will be waiting for me at home today

This is a great looking steelbook, thankfully mine was slash free.

No issues with mine and it (as it has been) needs to be said that this is damn nice, everything from the colours to the lettering etc is gorgeous on this one. Easily one of the best ones and gives me very high hopes for how Alice will turn out. Aladdin is probably still the nicest one Zavvi has done but they're closing in fast now.

Finally arrived I pre ordered this one, feel like it's taken forever. Beautiful steelbook.. No slashesno dents but the bambi title embossing is slightly off but I can live with it. So happy to have this one

damn so will have to off load one of these at some point. but are very nice steels

Lol.. I guess having 2 is better than none at all.. can you return it to zavvi and get your money back? Or any kids in the family with birthdays coming up?
I took mine out of the shrink wrap after my last post and it really is a beautiful SB, looks so much better unwrapped. . Its of great quality too.. I like it as much as my blufans pixar steels which I paid triple zavvi's price for.
