Title: Bandit

Director: Allan Ungar

Cast: Mel Gibson, Josh Duhamel, Elisha Cuthbert, Nestor Carbonell, Lorenzo Yearby

Plot: After escaping a Michigan prison, a charming career criminal assumes a new identity in Canada and goes on to rob a record 59 banks and jewellery stores while being hunted by a rogue task force. Based on the story of The Flying Bandit.

Why is Mel Gibson turning into Bruce Willis?
Are 'those who cannot be named' still so bitter, they blacklisted him or something?

Very fun movie, with proper production value, if someone like me was afraid it's one of those low budget stinkers Mel Gibson lately appeared in. Should've had a better ending, but was bound by its real life story.
Gibson is great, as always, especially complaining about Boy George and 'modern' 80's music (wonder what he'd say about today's crap), but there's very little of him.
Didn't realize it was Elisha Cuthbert till the end credits, because I forgot about her since hating her character in "24".
Anyway, if you've never had piles of illegally obtained cash on your family's bed, you've never lived!
