Where was the group buy available? I’ve been checking this thread and the Group Buy section frequently but never saw a GB go up—just the purchase links that said the movie goes on sale 10/13.

I know tone doesn’t convey well online so just in case: I’m not complaining more just curious where it was/how I missed it so I don’t miss future Group Buys. I took part in two previous HDN GBs so thought I had a handle on this but clearly I don’t haha.

It was advised here, Saturday evening for me, then went live Sunday eve (just shy of a full 24hrs advance notice) via bluraylife's store.
It wasn't in the Group Buy section here(it was in the Group Buy section of the store website) and seems Aniv is shifting away from that to just us the store and individual release threads for his GB - best bet is to sign up anywhere / everywhere as like with Manta's recent Spiderman, there were emails to the store mailing list, advising of the GB.

So if you had alerts for this thread you shouldnt have missed it unless you weren't logged on here or checking emails (depending on your set up).

There are a few other GB's out there as far as am aware, but the next best chance may be to go direct end of the week when it goes live with Mantaa .

It's tricky to stay on top of alerts sometimes - I left tabs open and would randomly check through the day as well as having email alerts. I refused to miss out on this

Yeah some GB prices I’ve seen floating around are taking the mickey a bit.
Anything around or over £200 is definitely taking the piss(especially those prices with shipping billed later).

Even though we pay a little extra with Aniv here, it always feels reasonable to me (If I recall, this one was £180-182 ish) and all said amd done, its a small price to avoid the direct bloodbath and ensure a copy is secured

Makes me wonder how long before some of these other GB’s are just scalper prices, tarted up with ‘supposed’ GB branding (such variations in costs that cant be easily explained away with paypal/import fees etc)

£190 is pretty much bang on €220 though. But I agree, happy to pay a little extra to avoid going in on Friday on general sale and likely falling short of getting one. Still have no idea how I managed to secure one yesterday if they went within a minute or so I had been out all day but kept an eye on the time and was trying to juggle finding and then bringing my toddler into a bathroom and refreshing bluraylife simultaneously!
