These are not marvel movies!I'm more concerned that Amazon will be over selling these two releases now.

Ask the first five people you meet on the street if they like Barry Lyndon. They will probably say they never met him.
Not worried at all about this.![]()

Yup, I'm concerned about that as well. It was a shame as that satin finish was really nice. I do wish they would stick those bloody stickers on the shrink wrap.Hopefully this won't have the same cheap finish as Clockwork Orange and FMJ that peels off with the glue/rating stickers.
Yeah, I'm a big fan of the satin and spot gloss combo... never had any issues with that kind of finish before, so god knows what they did differently this time around. Been saying it for years, but there's literally no need to glue/stick anything directly on to the steelbook itself.Yup, I'm concerned about that as well. Oh I dunno. Amazon UK are showing over 300 sold in the last month and we all know they only stock 5 Steelbooks per pre order![]()
I think Paramount used that same finish on the UK Steelbook PET slip for The Crow. The sticker on that one took the finish off in the same way. Agree about there being absolutely no need to stick anything adhesive to any premium item. One of the worst examples of that for me was Warner on the UK UHD Digibooks for Batman Begins, The Dark Knight and The Dark Knight Rises. If you remember they had a very delicate black felt like finish and talking the stickers off left a discolouration. Beautiful Digibooks but totally impractical finish to put on them in the first place.Yeah, I'm a big fan of the satin and spot gloss combo... never had any issues with that kind of finish before, so god knows what they did differently this time around.
