I really like this simple design on this and Returns and agree they would look great in gloss. I'll probably wait for some in-hand pics before committing to this

Well, when this does release can someone please open it up and let us know what we Americans can expect? I have my order on hold because I may drop the burton films if the pressing is mostly the same

I never understand why people cancel just because there's no inside art (unless you display them open). I get the whole price-drop thought, or lack of embossing etc.

That said, I very much doubt they'll be embossed. WB embossed steelbooks are very few and far between and while Batman, Batman Returns and Batman & Robin feature logos which might work embossed (they're not clean logos though) Batman Forever seems to be going with different poster art (which is a stupid decision) so any the titles could be embossed.

I'd say that inside artwork is very likely. I can't think of a UK WB steelbook without it (there must be some) so I doubt the Burton/Schumacher Batman's will be any different.

I'd rather have inside art than embossing and/or glossy finish. Blank inside to me represents a lazy effort. There is just no good reason for it.

I will cancel these Burton steels in a hot second if there is no artwork inside.

I'm no so much cancelling due to the lack of art but I bought the US version recently and if this is a nicer one, I'm taking the US ones back to the store and putting my order through.

Oh I completely get that. If someone wants a specific film in a steelbook, then they should get the version they like best (be it with inside art, or better artwork or whatever).

But I don't see the point in turning down a steelbook for a movie I want just because it has no inside art as it's either that or nothing. Then again, I don't display them. They just go on the shelf, so to me I like a nice spine I suppose.

I am probably within 48-72 hours of cancelling my orders on these Batman steels if we don't get word that there is inside art confirmed.

Glossy and/or embossed would be a nice plus!

They are shipping these and still no word on the inside?

Well that about does it for me. I am not participating in this.

Batman, Batman Returns, Batman Forever, and Batman and Robin.

All cancelled. 2 copies of each.

Screw that.

Cancelled my Amazon order, and thought I would give Sainsburys ago,as its a couple of quid cheaper

I was happy with my Django Unchained steelbook I got from there. Packaging was a lot better than expected and you can spend nectar points aswell. Don't expect it to be next day though. Allow 2-3 working days after dispatch email.

What was the last Warner UK release not to have inside artwork?

I know... but USA and CAN is already confirmed with no inside art, and CAN almost always has inside art, so I didn't want to keep my order. Besides, I am not super worried about all these selling out in the next few days. We will begin to see unboxing vids and pics posted here soon enough

More like 8-9 days in my recent experience, but that's probably more down to poor service from Royal Mail which seems to be very slow generally in my area!
