It almost looks like the box is metal
Probably same type of material as Harry Potter's.
The Harry Potter box is metal, just very thin and soft.
I have one of the OG HP ones, my back panel is upside down lol. That’s how it was manufactured. Can confirm! Scratches and dents like metal too lol.

If it were as “strong” as the metal on SteelBooks it’d be so much better. For real, it’s so flimsy and butter soft. But the foam lining is sturdy and protects the SteelBooks well while displaying them so it does the job. The Batman box being half the size may help with the flimsiness.

Yeah the new ones are right side up and have the recently updated Wizarding World logo on the sides.
And they don’t have any sort of feet so unless you want the flat metal side scratching against your shelves, you’ll have to get some tiny adhesive rubber feet like I did. Still a lovely set, however. Eager to get the Batman set.
This edition is quite a bit more than the US edition. I wonder if there is any discernible difference between the two.
Steelbooks definitely . . . in a box unlikely. Will this most likely get an amazon uk release?
I can’t wait to see the MCU start going this way. One stupidly long 22 movie display case. Or more realistically the phases broken up into sets.
Yeah, after posting that I learned the Spider-Man: FFH is the last phase 3 movie. So either one really long ass Steelbook case, or 3x 8 movie cases (with the last disc being bonus material). The phases aren’t even, phase 1 and 2 are both 6 movies, and phase 3 is 11.That sounds wonderful doesn't it, but I wouldn't want it until the MCU as a whole was done and dusted... which we know won't be happening for a very, very long time.
All things come to an end, and eventually the MCU will either end completely or turn into something else. However, the idea of having an incomplete matching set that would be perfection in every way just makes me sad when you realise that
it wouldn't be 'complete' really.
Technically that set of 22 should be a set of 23 as Far From Home is the end of phase 3. Somehow doesn't feel right though does it when a movie like Endgame feels like the 'finale' in a series.
Continuity is difficult in collecting steelbooks. Splitting each set into phases and releasing matching steels would look great but once again it wouldn't fill me with confidence that it would continue for as long as
the MCU continues. These smaller matching sets of 'a collection within a collection' is a better way of collecting in my opinion unless there was absolute guarantee of an 'entire MCU matching steelbook set' that continued for years, but that just never happens.
