The cynic in me says they are preying on steelbook collectors with these, but I enjoyed the movie, like the artwork, and the price is reasonable. I'll wait and see if the US release has the same artwork first though.

Wasn't the 1st temp artcover for Batman Begins and The Dark Knight were the same as Premium releases like they were on Amazon JP? I wonder if they changed the artwork to the same ones that are now shown on Zavvi and Amazon.

Can anybody please confirm?
I wanted to cancel my Zavvi orders and keep the Amazon ones alive.

It looks like an actual Batman graphic novel cover illustration, rather than a typical movie still photograph.

Great saturated colors, with a real dark fantasy-art vibe. I really like it

Great moment too in Year One, which is kinda the translated part in Begins. Batmans in a building and they actually bomb? it cause it was up for destruction. Swat team vs Batman /w a dart gun.


I still like the JP steels the best and even Best Buys steels. This one is nice too just kinda unsure how to feel.

I like the top and placement of the symbol. Its also clean of the actors names which I like. And of course, you cant go wrong with Katie Holmes and her teet just poking up,waiting to be latched onto. Cant wait to see it in person. Hoping to get alot of these for about $15 after Best Buys upgrade and save.

This one screams for a glossy finish but considering the asking price and it is Warner, it will have the usual poor dull matte finish.
