Truly breaks my heart that Warner released it knowing the art is the wrong way round.

Would have bought them in an instant.

I'm not sure that this is actually a goof-up on Warner's part. If the front and back art were reversed, the title would overlap the image of the logo, which takes up more space for this particular film. On the other three releases they have avoided doing this.

Unfortunate or not, I'd guess that the final product is in their minds an 'acceptable compromise'.

In all fairness, it is actually a very nice steelbook.

I wasn't going to bother with the original four films as I LOATHE this one (and Batman & Robin) but I have to say that the steelbooks look amazing and I'm seriously contemplating adding them to my collection.

I already have the steels for the Nolan films so it would only be right for me to add these as well. Right? RIGHT?!

I'm having the same problem, keep convincing myself to get them then talking myself out of it!

They both look so good.
But the films are awful.
They would complete the set.
It's a waste of money!

The only reason I own Batman Forever is because I genuinely love the flick, warts 'n all. I wouldn't have the other 'Anthology' films given to me for free, no matter how great the Steelbooks.

As others have mentioned, I'm also a little disappointed that the back and front covers of this SeelBook seem to have been printed in reverse. Ruins the whole look of the set, where the Batman logo inside the Riddler's question mark looks like it should have been on the front

There must be a reasonable explanation for this, and it would be nice if Warner Bros / Scanavo could comment. It's not the first time a SteelBook has been cocked-up - This is very reminiscent of the Iron Man / Iron Man 2 inside artwork switcheroo...

You'd have thought someone would have said something.

The French releases are the same. Seeing as both the last few DVD releases and the last Blu-ray release got the designs right, I wonder what happened here?

In some ways, I prefer the design for Batman Forever more than the others and would have been more than happy if they'd had the theatrical poster art for all 4 on the front, metallic Batsymbol, Batman/Catwoman/Penguin, Batman/Robin/Two-Face etc. and Mr. Freeze/Batman/Robin/Batgirl and then used the rusted logo designs on the back.

Unfortunately, as much as I like Batman Forever's design the fact it doesn't match bugs the hell out of me. That and the stupid 'Blade' font they now use. You just know when the Superman movies come out WB will end up using the 'Man of Steel' logo and font on them all!

Arrived today!

May pick this one up, I am ready to catch up on this one next, I remember having the posters for the first three movies, still have them somewhere. I will consider it a trilogy and ignore the fourth one. :)

I'm still hoping they re-release this with the artwork front and back switched, like they should be.
