Amen to that. Good grief. Insanely, utterly.... pointless.

As if any parent in all of Europe will be swayed one way or another by those logos, ever.

The reason they do it is so they can press the same disc for the whole of Europe. If they only included the UK rating logos on this Steelbook release, they would need to press a new disc and as we all know, Warner like to cut costs wherever possible.

As for the Steelbook, I can't believe the difference in quality. USA really did get the short straw with these Batman releases.

I think it just goes to show that even though you get some who say 'the first release is best' or 'the first release will always be more sought after' it's not always true.

I'm all for those who collect rare steelbooks, or those with a Korean J-card or whatever, but it goes to show they're not always the best version from a technical standpoint.

For example, I have the white Zavvi steelbook and to my mind it's the worst version available. It has 1 disc rather than 3 from Play's version, but both of them have the blue banner which I hate. The black version is also 1 disc but has no blue banner. I prefer the contents of Play's release but in Zavvi's black design. Oh well, you can't please everyone.

I don't think any of the DC titles got inside art, but they were Blu-ray/DVD combi's which I prefer.

Strangely, Batman, Batman Returns* and Batman & Robin had English titles but Batman Forever was French.

*even more odd, as Batman: The Dark Knight Returns was French too.

Batman returns got a french title, not forever

Also the french versions of Batman, Returns, forever, & robin all have inner artwork.

Well, it shows what I know. That'll teach me for trying to remember things off the top of my head.

1. Are the NL Steelbooks cheap Sticker-Steelbooks? I know some Warner Sticker-Steelbooks exist, but i don't know if they made a printrun of BATMAN and BATMAN RETURNS.
2. Are the NL rating logos printed like on the JOHN WICK 2 Steelbook or just a sticker or on the J-Card?
3. Are there versions of the NL Steelbooks without a printed interior artwork?
4. Do the NL Steelbooks have the same finish as the UK Steelbooks? For example the US Steelbooks have a dull, cheap, streaky matt finish as opposed to the UK Steelbooks.
5. Is the metal on the NL Steelbooks thinner compared to the UK Steelbooks from Zavvi?
