Yeah but you don't know do you that's the whole thing with collecting, 'who knows?'. I skipped Cloverfield Lane in the Cinema, but had to pay the rediculous £23 HMV. Now it is two for £25! I should had just waited for the FAC but as a massive fan of the first cloverfield I had to cave in :emb:

If you bought the HMV release, you could have sold for 30 easily and used that to part fund this release lol. :) I will try my luck online to get the UE but think it will be an anti-climax like Deadpool.

I'm pretty sure the print run for this will be bigger print runs than manta and kimchi deadpool. Unless you mean mantas global BvS?

Doesnt really matter how a good steel is if it is WEA, if the print run is massive there just be too many floating around for it become rare and collectible and a massive turn off. Over doing a print run is not always a good idea. Now I'm gonna get shot for the collectors that all want a copy and don't care about the steel becoming collectible or worthless because they open to keep for themselves and Never sell them!

@BluSteel2012 opens all his steels so he is being patient skipping the rediculously expensive cinema and popcorn, skipping the HMV and buy the one copy. Wise move my friend :) Not many people have the patience!
So rather than going to a ridiculously expensive cinema, you rather have the ridiculously expensive steelbook, watch it on an inferior set-up and potentially end up with a steel for a movie you could hate

Nope, top class for myself

Then dont make assumptions on other people's set up my friend. My AV unit cost me £2K brand new. So a trip to the cinema is £10. I probably need to take the other half thats another £10, then have to spend another £10 on snacks. Petrol costs and parking add a few quid. No free parking where I am. So we are looking around £30 ish quid. So for a massive big hollywood block buster Super Heroes movie that you can rewatch over and over again at the convenience of your own home? To pass not buying the initial releases and go for the what you feel is the best one. I think it is a good investment over all.

The assumption I made was that your set-up is inferior to a modern cinema... it is, no matter how you look at it. Other thing I was referring to was £40-60 on a premium steel for a movie you could hate, when you could spend £15-20 for 2 people (Meerkat offer including your parking and snacks). Only thing I dislike about the cinema is heavy breathing, loud popcorn / crisps eating people, but other than that, no brainer for me.

Well for DC Comics and Marvel Super heroes 200m dollar movies to make I am sure there be plenty of people that can take the risk and skip the cinema, skip the standard release and go for one lovely addition. When has a premium steel cost £60?

Of course any set up is 'inferior to a modern cinema'. My set up does the Job. Only regret is I need to upgrade to Dolby Atmos that can accommodate HDR from 4K blurays.

We don't all live in the UK either

Everyone's situation is different.

I don't buy films I won't like. I'm pretty sure about what I like and don't like at this stage!

If I do need to sell it on for whatever reason, it's always easier to shift a premium product rather than a regular WWA steelbook.

And on paper, maybe a cinema is worth more, but I personally prefer my HD home set up to my cinemas crappy screen. Every time is a different experience (for example sometimes the projectionist has the screen so dark you find it hard to make out what's going on)

And my 3D set up is 100 times better.
