New collectors who are paying high prices are already feeling the pinch.

Especially, since most of the releases are close to one another. Spending $200 to $300 on these releases will take it's toll.

They always do. The last package I received yesterday was marked $16. They have always marked down the value without even asking. You should be OK

Well @wxlinkswd and @n3wk1d I suggest you guys should be definitely giving them the deadline for payment or else something like Dredd FAC GB may happen again (and it's gonna look ugly) as I believe ASAP/straight or right away for each person is maybe totally different...

Because of the strong USD at the moment (almost 1:1 to EUR), this is the most pricy steelbook I've EVER paid for (not to mention the risk of customs)
I know this one will be awesome. And I know I will love it. But collecting steelbook is just getting too expensive in the meantime.
I'm afraid I'll have to draw the necessary consequences from importing steelbooks in 2017...

I started collecting 2014 (more of a "soft" collector) and I told myself I only will spent 50€+ on movies I really liked and enjoyed, made it easier to collect (and the fact that I forbid myself in double dipping on one movie - one nice edition per movie). This helps me to keep my hobby budget in tact

Tell me about it !. I was stupidly lucky and won £500 on a £1 spin on a game called Santa surprise on skybet on tuesday. Well that's all gone already after I have paid for all my steels from GB's and zavvi decided to take around £150 for the Disney steels which I had forgot about.
Ive also got 2 group buy payments due today :0. Plus around £300+ for BVS and cap civil war blufans box sets last week !

That's me done for a long time now lol I'm going to have pass on 90% of releases for a long long time as it's getting ridiculous

Those are newer releases compared to the FAC X-Men releases. Food for thought. The X-Men steelbooks that FAC are using are $8.99 currently at Best Buy.
