You shouldn't get hit with customs charges when it gets here, you'll pay an import fee along with the postage, so what you pay at the checkout with Amazon is the final price.

Cheers D4vem but I'm a little confused, I thought the UK gets import fees and custom charges for anything £18 or over from Canada? You say I pay an import fee when I checkout but I can't see that and have never seen that when I've ordered from Canada. So it comes to $48.71 to the UK (roughly £25) but I thought I'll get horrible charges when it arrived in the UK. Here is a pic of the order details

You would have thought that but I did the same thing through amazon for roughly the same amount (different batman steelbook)and was then sent a import tax bill for £15 through dhl uk...

It would have worked out much cheaper to order from a groupbuy and since then I have as the service from other ninjas has been great.

Oh ok, I was quite up for the figure but like all my dc animated steels I've got them from EBay so I might keep an eye out for it on there after realease.
I'll cancel my Amazon order anyway

I hope they don't just putting out every back catalogue title; artwork, rarity and the film itself is what makes these collectible. Although I do like the look of this one

Okay so I just went to cancel my Amazon order to the UK becuase of the import charges I would receive but I just noticed my order was placed as a gift and a tick box with "hide prices on the packaging slip for this purchase" is selected. so again I'm sorry to bug people but will this help me not pay import charges coming into the UK considering I'll be paying just over £25 for it?
Don't think I've ever selected the gift option before

Whacked in an order. Total shipped is about $5 more than the best buy exclusive. $5 premium for a steelbook upgrade is worth it IMO
