yes, embossed / debossed ... a la Chronicle. Think it's the same for all released
Looks like the international release is missing a major bonus feature due to cramming of too many audio and subtitle streams.

Its a shame they put a dvd in the case. Just put in 2 bd's with one of them having all the bonus features and call it a day.
Just watched this movie a Strict rule for me is when I buy a steelbooks is that it's a movie I want in my collection or something that I would watch again. This movie should have been sunk along with the battleships to the deepest parts of the ocean. What a shame
Looks like the International release that is crammed with too many audio and subtitle streams is missing this special feature which is featured in the US release.
All Access with Director Peter Berg (HD, 140 minutes): Berg hosts this excellent Maximum Movie Mode-esque Picture-in-Picture video commentary, complete with interviews, behind-the-scenes footage, featurettes, production tidbits and breakaway sessions with Berg. On a side note, it's nice to see Universal moving away from U-Control tracks, which never seem to live up to their potential. Hopefully this is a hint at the sort of PiP experiences we can expect from the studio in the future.

all (sealed) copies of the Battleship steelbook i've seen at my local FreeRecord shop have a remarkable point.., they are upside down into the "taco'' card....
maybe these will be a very rare collectors item for this....

I just went to Mediamarkt Zoetermeer and they do not have this steelbook. Only Free Record shop has it here.
