We never got proper steelbooks for the much superior 2004 tv show, unless you count those DVD ones from Future Shop. I guess there must be enough of a fan base for this, however.

and then after that theres the 1980 series which wasnt as good but it sort the completist in me.

As I've recently received my Buck Rogers steelbook from Germany, I've placed my order for this.

Personally I think the transfer is fantastic, sure some of the VFX looks ropey but the live action stuff looks brilliant.

Zoomed in ratio to fill the screen and the brightness/contrast is darker than the digital release.
