best blu-ray released so far

This one might be difficult to come up with, since it might be a difference in opinion. I happen to think Hellboy 2 might the best looking and sounding, but that's just me.

IDK, I tend to not remember the really good ones but I remember the BAD ones.

I'd have to go with the Pirates flicks. they look pretty amazing to me. As for sound, I really can't comment because I'm just on DD.

I agree with Horhay, Hellboy II has one of the best transfers on Blu... it has zero grain, others worth mentioning as well, Sin City, Watchmen and Quantum of Solace.

I notice that all of my favorite films are shot with digital cameras, people always disagree with me and act all disrespectful when I say that, lol... only film I mentioned that was shot with film is QOS I think.

I think overall package wise that has everything is Casino Royale, the disc has held up well since its release and still looks amazing

band of brothers was awesome as well. after watching Hot Fuzz last night I think I'd have to put that right up there as well. I'm not a fan of "extras" on a disk, i just don't bother with them, but this disk is loaded with features if anyone is interested.

Yup, Hellboy II to me is hands down the best looking BD out there and keep in mind I have all the releases mentioned by you.

Certainly there are other very nice releases but Hellboy just captured everything very nicely and visually it was stunning!

I think you are right though, I believe most of the films you mentioned were shot using digital cameras.

Hellboy 2 was good i agree with that, but im stick with Casino Royale for best blu. I think considering how many different shots are in the film it holds up nicely.

My mate has just bought the band of brothers steelbox collection for £22. But I can't comment on it's PQ/SQ Because I haven't seen it yet.

But my fave Blu for PQ and SQ is The Dark Knight (at this moment in time)
