Odd that Season 3 has not been announced in steelbook anywhere.
How can they do that! Starting a line for a on-going series and chickening out midways?According to a member in the German forum, who has asked SPHE via Facebook, there won't be a steelbook for the third season.

I’m guessing it’s purely down to sales. If there’s not a profit in it then they won’t make it. It is disappointing for people who have the original series though. How can they do that! Starting a line for a on-going series and chickening out midways?
I see the economical reasoning, but as a label, when one starts a product line (like a steelbook edition) for an on-going series, one is committing himself to it.Maybe it just didn't sell well enough?
You may "see" the economical reasoning but the second part of your sentence clearly implies you don't understand it.I see the economical reasoning, but as a label, when one starts a product line (like a steelbook edition) for an on-going series, one is committing himself to it.
Boo! Guess I'll have to have @marvelsthecollector fix that with a custom print.According to a member in the German forum, who has asked SPHE via Facebook, there won't be a steelbook for the third season.
For me it's the ridiculous prices. 45£ is just too much for a single season.I wonder if the reason for disappointing sales is that collectors were uncertain if Sony would commit to releasing future seasons. Ironic if true.
Maybe the best thing to do is to wait until after the show has finished its run.
