What is better protection for your steelbooks out of these 2, im looking to get one or the other which do you have and why?

For me, it would be both 
. Though the 2nd option is the best out of the two if you are asking for just one. But I would put them in a sleeve first and then in the hard case. That way the steelbooks are protected from dust/lint, etc. and have a nice appearance as well
