Their Rambo has gloss. They're embossing Rush.
Just because most of their releases are matte, doesn't mean this will be.
Plus since when did matte = awful?
I'm perfectly happy with the Studio Canel Kill Bill and other none gloss steels like Nightmare before Christmas or 2 guns.
Matte on some steels looks bad but there are lots of nice matte steels.
I would be more worried about low resolution artwork with this, which I doubt gloss could save.

Independence Day has gloss... Just on the title.
don't know why you are mentioning emboss,since i said nothing about that.
i just think the colour scheme is only suited to gloss.
Because they don't normally emboss their steels, but now they are with Rush. Before Rush you could have said "it's Studio Canal so it won't be embossed.
So they can change at anytime, meaning "it will be matte" is not a fact.
I'd agree with that. This was one I was really looking forward to, but will wait to see some in hand pics before I commit now.

I prefer gloss because it makes the artwork look more premium. The colours pop better and glossy steelbooks tend to not wear as easily as matte. The artwork for this looks good but if it is matte it may look quite dull.

I don't know what you don't understand.... It has nothing to do with you saying embossing. It was an example of change.
I said they didn't do embossing before but now they are doing it. You think it won't be gloss because of past releases, but they could change that at anytime like how they didn't do embossing but now they are doing embossing.
But as I already said, Rambo has gloss.

Never seen it but heard lots about it when it came out but avoided it

I've been charged £17.70 (11p off what it shows how much it is to pre order) from Amazon but the order status hasn't changed.
I've only got this and 28 weeks preordered. hmmmm.
