I think paying between £3 -£6 extra for items to be shipped half way round the world, hardly makes these DIRT cheap in comparison.

no, not DIRT cheap. but the truth IS that FAC releases are cheaper. And as good as some Asian steels. or even better ... so why not praise Film Arena ?!

and EDIT : I do not see how steel coming from Asia makes that anyway special ???

Cheapest shipping I've ever had from any of those Novamedia etc. is $12, which is ~£7. Releases are on $40 or so (~£25.50). Total = £32.50 (provided you don't get hit with import fees).
By comparison a single Film Arena release is ~1113 CZK = ~£29.60 so yeah, I agree with you it's not dirt cheap (for a single release), it's a little cheaper; if however you start combining items in GBs you do start saving (plus there's no danger of import fees).

When I joined for john wick it had the beauty shot so I'm not sure if I should wait it out and see that first.

Without derailing the thread, I don't understand your post or edit. I never said they were special or better. I pointed out that they have to travel from Korea, or China etc. Not just 600 miles from Prague. They are going to be more expensive. To post in this thread that £3-£6 is DIRT cheap in comparison, just does not add up.

Advantages of the GB is it tends to be slightly cheaper (more so if you combine purchases), plus you don't pay straight away. Whenever you order from FA direct, you pay at time of order.
