Exactly. im fed up of paying 4 months in advance. korean stuff is bad enough 1 month before release but this is just taking it to

its getting extremely irritating paying for all these releases months and months in advance. why do they need the money so quick?!?! surely they should have enough money to pay for all these releases. instead it feels like they use our money to purchase everything before hand

payment within a month of release is fair i think.

It's almost as if these products don't even reach the production line unless they sell every single copy before hand.

I'm with @cooey on this. So many posts on the forum moan about a lack of quality control on products so for me it's reassuring. The quality of the products seem to be top notch and at least they're keeping us informed. I know the inconvenience of the money situation, I'm not exactly rich but when I budgeted for the FAs I have ordered I left a budget for Xmas as I'm sure everyone else did so it shouldn't really make a difference. I commend the company for caring about what they're putting out and with their quality control. I'll wait and it'll be worth it!

They should release the steel while I am alive. Not that they say that producing a steel without issue would take 50 years.
In the working business there are often deadlines that are too keep. You cant always get more and more time.
So they should give a realistic timeframe and keep it. Then everybody can deceide to order or not order.

Damn shame there is no notepad with any of the editions :( guess i'll make use of the character cards and the booklet and set them on fire to keep myself warm, got December sorted because of the notepad with the John Wick Angel Edition so i am not gonna freeze to death

FilmArena could be using a neophyte and cheap manufacturer who can't make a simple box right the first time. What's up with the constant returns. They are probably using one with poor quality control.

What difference does it make to you all if you get charged now versus later? Honest question.

It is money that could be spent elsewhere or sitting in a savings account earning interest. There is also the possibility of buyer protection elapsing if using PayPal which is a much bigger issue. If this was one of the big retailers e.g. Zavvi, I doubt you would be questioning the concerns raised by members here.

I think everyone should just chillax, Birdman and T5 are all paid up, we just have to wait for them to be delivered once the issues are sorted. Then in January I'm sure we will hear about Looper, Dredd, Jurassic World, T2 and Hitman Agent 47 which will probably be invoiced, manufactured and dispatched by the end of Q1 if not early Q2 for a couple. I'm sure with some announcements of further realases for Q3 and 4.

I think FA are doing a bloody awesome job!! Releasing great titles with great quality steels and slips, we should be greatful!! Just remember that millions of people around the world do not even get the luxury to waste their money on stuff like this when all they can think about is when the next meal is coming!! Be greatful that we are lucky enough to even whine and moan about a company who are taking their time to satisfy their customers!

Rant over

Not so fast. I don't own any FAC releases yet and haven't been wowed by them like Nova Media or Plain Archive. I figured the PayPal payments possibly lapsing would be the reason everyone is so upset.

I'd be more than happy to hear about King Kong, though. :) At least I know that Birdman is coming eventually.

And they get good money of customers months before a real piece is produced. They should be greatful ;)
I cannot think on a single item that I normally pay in full months in advance before getting it.
And here I would not have a chance to get my money back anymore.
Maybe they make good products. But they should do it in time. Lots of good companies do that.
These delays are annoying.

I love FA and will participate in all Karel's GBs, but I have to agree with the majority that collecting 100% of the cost months in advance is not a good practice....maybe they should start invoicing 2-3 weeks before the definite dispatch date, or maybe collect 20% in advance (which could be complicated to implement). I am sure they have the liquid funds by now to continue their manufacturing process for future releases.

Also, if all their releases are turning up with defects, then there is definitely something wrong somewhere....they were not having these problems a few months ago when the number of releases announced were fewer.
