Yes its disgusting. The correct way of collecting is for items to sell at least half the cost price in the third party market. If retailers know what they sell will sell 10 times higher as soon as they sell out they should buy everything they sell themselves and then go flog it on ebay for way more and make way more profits. But no they don't do that because logically they should be on ebay for half the price or less. Thats why im not buying interstellar weet or even manta l was offered one clicks for 300 400.no chance I'm not mad, as soon as manta interstellar one click is going for 100 200 on ebay I will buy.

When you see a Manta Interstellar OC up on eBay for £100 give me a shout and I'll buy it for ya.

Actually the trend with boutique premiums has always been 2x the cost. And that only increases with time.
You will never find a boutique premium at cost or less than cost on the second hand market (unless it's opened and beat up).

@snoopcat1987 often writes some clickbait (or reply-bait) triggering crazy stuff intentionally (unless he's really mentally ill), so don't mind him (her?, it?).

Either way I still think best way to sell these limited run editions is like... Limited Run does with games, i.e. you have 2-3 MONTHS to preorder UNLIMITED number of copies, for everyone, for yourself to keep one sealed, one to look at, one to grade, one to store away in a bank vault, and one for each friend and acquaintance for Christmas, whatever, and then they go and make as many copies as were ordered, and everyone is happy. And their stuff is still limited and still goes for twice the price later, usually.

I think it all depends on the movie itself and the company that put it out. Just as an example some WW84 premiums are going at cost or sometimes less for sealed copies. Not from blufans though. Those tend to hold value better than the others.

Fair point. But those are rarer situations. Reminds me of how I kind of feel bad for a boutique that has to make educated guesses ahead of time- only to get stuck making a one click and singles of a film that turns out to be an absolute turkey.
Btw- isn't Zeta supposed to back from their year long sabbatical?!

1. you compare a classic masterpiece with an ok movie
2. oab = 250 copies and for vips only / ww84 premium releases = 2k+ copies amd available for everyone
