I assume the mock-up pic for this is slightly inaccurate. The last time this steelbook was released, it had a debossed title--so, no need for the debossed border, as in the mock-up.

Just give us the proper cinema poster artwork ...... who the hell is paying these muppets !
Yes, maybe not original poster art but was certainly used for the BFI Final Cut screening back in 2015 . . . and, no, even if you wanted it you couldn't buy the poster at the time . . . so nice to have it immortalised as the steelbook front art . . . in fact Image is the official re-release poster and IMO better than all that went before:-

The only other posters I feel would look good on a steelbook are both from Tyler Stout created as tribute posters in 2009:-

Probably the best-looking BLADE RUNNER steelbook out there but that price of 23 quid can't be right, surely!?

Regarding the second disc in the steelbook: anyone know if it's anything other than a DVD ?
If it's a DVD, as I suspect, then £23 is pushing it.
Should be priced more sensibly @ £15.99 max.
.
For a better look at the finish and de-bossed title there's this short unboxing of the steelbook from France released back in October, 2015 which, as can be seen, already includes discs with U.K. BBFC stamps
As for that weird framing border on the mock-up cutting through the artwork there's no sign of it on the real thing:-

Hmmm, was going to jump on this, but missed out from the looks of things.

Preparing for a stampede of abuse now, but I've never seen it believe it or not!:ohno:

You'll be seeing the definitive version if you decide to stick an order in.
I first saw the theatrical cut years ago & HATED it. Couldn't understand the hype at all. But it always sat in the back of my mind that I must be missing something.
Fast forward a few years, I picked up The Final Cut & it blew me away. Everything just clicked & its now one of my top 5 favorite movies of all time.

The Final Cut has been available for almost 10 years now (released to celebrate the film's 25th and now a ten year old master) and this looks to be a repackage - albeit a very smart repackage - to cash in on the upcoming BLADE RUNNER 2049 and looks more like a cynical ploy to dump old discs during the film's anniversary year.
During the film's 35th Anniversary year with the *4K Final Cut just around the corner (5th September release) as well as the Dangerous Days documentary in 1080p for first time (this documentary has been in SD on all previous releases - including here I presume? - even when repackaged onto a BD disc) I must admit I'm finding it hard to justify the high price of this particular release.
On the other hand, I'd have been all over it had the release been futureproofed.
