Yes it will be that same disc, if the zavvi listing is correct anyway. Bluray holding Dangerous days, workprint and all available special features. Fantasic and essential disc imo.

The Italian steelbook had it (with uk age ratings) as a 2nd disc, whereas the UK steel (close up of Harrison's face and debossed title) was only a single disc.

Apart from the artwork, tagline and finish being pretty poor, £25 is actually a pretty decent deal for a 4k steel copy of BR with that bonus disc included.
UK debossed title steelbook was 2 discs Blu-ray and DVD
Italy release was the same steelbook with same Blu-ray and DVD
Blu-ray was Film
DVD was Dangerous days

That's not correct, r.e the Italian steel. I have it, and it most definitely came with the same bluray (not dvd) as the UK 4K collector's edition. Same steel as the UK release though.

You quoted UK steelbook was a single disc
The UK steelbook was 2 discs

UK steelbook was
Blu-ray Film
DVD Dangerous days

Yes the Italy steelbook the second disc was Blu-ray

In terms of Dangerous days itself the DVD is better
The Blu-ray that has dangerous days
Blu-ray is just using the DVD transfer but has cropping issues and does not look as good it does on DVD

That Blu-ray does though have other extras that are good

Alright Paul, people in glass houses and all that lol
Just as easy for me to say...

"you quoted the Italy release was the same steelbook with same Blu-ray and DVD, when it evidently wasn't"

That wasn't really the point of the post though was it. I was saying that if this included the bonus bluray, that it was a good deal. Which it would be, seeing as it was only included in the UK collector's edition previously.

The point is if the bonus disc as Zavvi have listed only lists Dangerous days
This on it's own so far was DVD

If Zavvi steelbook does have workprint and All Our Variant Futures" documentary they should also mention this on the listing

Warner not done a Blu-ray that only has Dangerous Days

If the Bonus Disc is the previous Blu-ray it would have the following

In terms of Dangerous Days: Making Blade Runner" documentary
DVD picture quality is better than the Blu-ray that includes Dangerous Days
Rather elongated and pointless response there, but okay...

Anyway, the zavvi listing does state that it includes a blu-ray bonus disc, so on the face of it you're still wrong paul.

It's also very unlikely that WB will create a new bluray bonus disc containing all the special features and dangerous days, yet without the workprint. So it'll 99% be the same disc in the collectors edition, unless the zavvi listing is wrong.

Subject to personal opinion, but as far as I'm concerned, there's no way in hell the DVD copy of Dangerous Days or the workprint is better than the Blu-ray. The dvd scan of DD is essentially 1:1 ported over, and the workprint is restored with an excellent encode and 5.1 DTS HD MA audio.

I never said workprint was better on DVD in any thread post ever

No codes worked for me. I’ll wait and risk selling out and use my 12% discount on release day. If it sells out I’m not too fussed. I have the hmv edition with every version of the film, and the titans steelbook. Hopefully they’ll do a similar unicorn style steel for UK at some point.

Order for now but will order again with other stuff probably to spread shipping. Not sure if this will sell out quickly or not
