SPECS:
All the Bonds. All the girls. All the action. All in high-definition. Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios and Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment mark James Bond's monumental golden anniversary with the release of BOND 50, the complete Bond experience showcasing all 22 classic films on Blu-ray together for the first time ever, neatly packaged into one cool, sleek collectable box-set. The collection will be available beginning September 24 in the United Kingdom and September 25 in North America with additional international markets to follow that week. BOND 50 marks the debut of nine James Bond films previously unavailable in high definition Blu-ray and comes with a dossier of more than 122 hours of bonus features.

Set for release just prior to the theatrical premiere of SKYFALL, BOND 50 will offer a look at the latest Bond film through videoblogs shot with the cast and crew. The BOND 50 collection also provides two all-new pieces that spotlight the history of 007. "The World of Bond" takes a look at the style and attitude that is signature to Bond; pulling together the cars, the women, the villains and the music that have been a staple of these films for the past 50 years. "Being Bond" profiles the six distinguished actors that have had the honor of portraying 007.

Additional bonus content in the BOND 50 collection includes cast and crew commentaries, the behind-the-scenes making of each film, in-depth interviews with every actor that played Bond, a closer look at the exotic locations as shot on-the-set, the women of Bond, the villains of Bond, Bond's cars and gadgets, music videos and much, much more!

Special Features:
· DISC TWENTY THREE - Bonus Material

o NEW - The World of Bond - the 007 films have a look, style and attitude that is signature Bond. From the cars, to the women, to the villains and even the music, Bond films stand apart. The World of Bond takes the viewer through the best of five decades worth of classic James Bond in one thrilling montage. The World of Bond showcases the fascinating and entertaining interplay among unforgettable moments of danger, seduction, adventure and a dash of that distinguished humor that fans have cherished from the beginning up until now. To add to the experience, The World of Bond featurette will also offer a Pop-Up Trivia option to challenge even the sharpest of fans with little known facts and interesting trivia from the Bond Universe.

o NEW - Being Bond - there's only one James Bond - but he's proven too much for only one actor to play the role. In the franchise's 50-year run, six distinguished actors have taken on the part and secured a spot in cinematic history. Sean Connery, George Lazenby, Roger Moore, Timothy Dalton, Pierce Brosnan, and Daniel Craig each reflect on the impact and importance of taking on such a famous role. With this piece, gain insight into what each actor brought to the character and discover how they shaped the world's most timeless secret agent.

Now mine's just changed to "courier received", and what's even more frustrating is the time stamp says 9:23, when it's actually 10:12... so as well as making no sense, there's obviously a delay on the status updates too.

Nice one mate! Glad to see it arrived in one piece. Loving that last image by the way... those artcards look awesome.

PS. What was the status of your tracking info before it was delivered?

So it looks like "courier received" actually means it's on its way to the customer, in which case mine should hopefully be here soon! :D

Mine has arrived, packaged in a box with no protection, r lass said it had got a big hole in the box. And im lucky it isnt damaged. Hmv are CRAP!! These days used to like them but they are aweful now.

mine is still showing as "label re-print" so i guess will be a few more days yet.

Just updated to "In transit Receipt at Hub 25/09/2012 01:56:00"

I guess there tracking system is like there courier service.

Mine turned up just before noon, although I somehow missed him and noticed a card on the floor saying it had been left in a "secure location", which is apparently next to the wall for anyone who walks passed to see!

Thanks to HMV's useless packaging (jiffy envelope) mine arrived complete with a few minor bashes to the top corners and one of the edges... they're not too bad I suppose, but I'd rather it didn't have them. Can't be bothered with returning it though, and my sister reckons I'm just being picky as usual.

Overall, a really nice set. Very happy with the postcards too, as they went to the effort of printing the backs like proper postcards. Was surprised to see one for Skyfall as well. Can't wait to watch them all now.

Bummer to hear about the corners mate. :( If you have yet to open it. Pop into HMV and buy it. Then swap them.. go back into the shop and say.. Sorry, but I just called (whatever family member) and they told me they have a copy already. I got this as a birthday gift so I need to return it... So 1 quick return and refund later and bob's your fave uncle :D. They won't even bother about the corners. They will just make sure it's still sealed and since you were in (give it like 20 mins before going back) they will think nothing of it :D.. I've used this wee trick a few times to replace damaged goods I got online.

Chuffed you and DK06CTR got this :scat: :D

@cooey - Fingers crossed for you matey!

Hope people don't mind me posting this one in this topic. These are supposed to be the artworks for the separate releases.

Cool cheers mate!

They should have just kept the old ones going with Bond and the girl on the cover.

Well, just got back home and sod all!! Tracking online and all it says is 'In Transit' and that was as of 0100 this morning! I'm getting very pissed off now, especially seeing as it was despatched by HMV last bloody Wednesday!

I've already opened it now mate. I did hesitate before doing so though... but because they're only minor bashes, I thought it may have just been the card slip that had any sign of damage. Unfortunately, once I'd ripped it open I realised the damage had managed to get as far as the box itself. They are quite small though to be fair, but because I am actually diagnosed with having OCD, then you can probably imagine how much they're bothering me lol. I'll get over it eventually though and move on to the next item that has any faint marks on. :p

I find it pretty strange that yours hasn't turned up yet... I live in the Midlands and James lives way up north in Scotland, so you'd think pretty much everyone would have theirs by now. Hope it turns up soon mate!

Thanks mate

I spoke to HMV and they apologised for the delay and said that Hermes do deliver up until 8pm so it could still turn up today, otherwise it'll be tomorrow :(

Yea the OCD thing is a killer lol. It takes me back to when I had it big time lol :hilarious: I stopped having OCD about things once I spent so many months in hospital not knowing if he (my dad off course) was going to make it. My OCD just vanished as all those things just did not seem important any more. When you spend so much time in hospital you get to know so many other people apart from the person you are there to see (I used to stay at the hospital at a halfway house on the hospital grounds in Glasgow at the spinal unit) You get to know other patients and there family members and not all of them make it. It's a very sobering experience.

Well just think of your boxset as unique :D

Mate :( Gutted for you buddy :( Bloody HMV!!!

just been looking at a few of these especially the ones not released yet like, her majestys secret service, goldeneye, octopussy etc and the sound and picture are superb. although goldeneye is very soft in comparison to the others i think a heavy splosh of DNR has been used.
