I do not know but i really did not like this movie at all and loved Brothers Bloom and Looper was a fun flick. It was just something about it that really dragged to me. No steelbook but I am going to rewatch it because people here seem to enjoy it and I value the movie opinions on HDN a lot. I found so many gems I never would have seen without this site especially good foreign films.

Damn you Studiocanal and your black and white inside arts...

Brick is one of my favorite movies, but you really have to watch it multiple times to appreciate it, like most film noirs in my experience. I didn't care for it much the first time, but each time I watch it I get something new out of it.

Like @lolwut said, it takes a few watches to 'get it'. It really shows off the talent of Rian Johnson who is getting his just rewards with the Star Wars film.

I do wish this had a similar finish to Young Frankenstein (gloss black with metallic shine) because both steelbooks share similar colours.
Also wish the disc had subtitles because the fast-paced dialogue can be hard to catch at times.

Is this the same 1080i disc from Optimum Releasing with no extras?

I like this movie, Rian Johnson is a good writer/director, Joseph Gordan-Levitt turns in a good performance, back before he made it big.
