Finally got the word from Zavvi today that I can keep the damaged steelbook as a "gesture of good faith". So if anyone needs or didn't receive the replacement disc, you're more than welcome to have mine. Just PM me and we'll get it straightened out.

Finally received my zavvi order and its severely dented. Sent email & pics to Zavvi CS and they refunded me since its OOS. What to do with the damaged copy? Do I need to send it back? I'm in Canada so postage is mighty expensive..

If they didn't ask you to return it, and you already have the refund then I would just hang on to it.
Some people are able to fix out dents, maybe ask around, see if someone can help?

Flog it on eBay and list it "mint"? :hilarious:

Zavvi have rather impressed me. Told them about the faulty disc which my steel came with & they credited my account with the total for the standard amaray to send to me as a replacement! Wow! So when I get the amaray, all I need to do is replace my faulty disc with the working one.

Gave them some nice feedback on their attention to this.

Sorry to dig up an old thread, but I wanted to ask anyone who's watched the replacement disc from this steelbook. I bought this quite a while ago on ebay and it contained the replacement disc, I watched the disc for the first time and saw that the picture would freeze for a fraction of a second, about 4-5 times at the beginning and a couple of times in the middle and about four times towards the end of the film. It sounds like (from what I read here) that the original disc skipped, has any one else had the freezing problem with the replacement discs? I was thinking about buying the amaray to put the disc in the steelbook but I won't bother if this was a problem for all the discs. Any help would be much appreciated
