Special Note: Reports of playback issues have prompted Lionsgate to initiate a replacement disc program. Check out posts #416, 420 and 424.
Look at the disc. You see a LIONSGATE logo to the left of the BLURAY DISC logo.

Under the Lionsgate part is a number:
LGB94935 - Original pressing
LGB94935B - Replacement fixed version

It has come to our attention that the supplier, due to a manufacturing fault, has recalled the item.

In order to resolve the issue, the manufacturer will supply us, hmv, with replacement discs, which we will post to you. We hope to have the replacement disc with you in approximately two weeks.

Please accept our apologies for the inconvenience caused. We are working closely with the manufacturer to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

Checked out Peterborough HMV this morning - steelbooks are back on the shelf with NO protection - unsealed and not even a polybag to protect them!! They'll be bust by Christmas....

I contacted HMV online over the weekend to find some info about the replacement disc fiasco, and received this today.

I can confirm that we have not yet received the replacement stock, we are expecting this by next week.

Once the stock has arrived at our warehouse, we will then dispatch this to you.

So it seems that those of us that bought online, will not be getting our replacement discs as soon as we thought.:angry:
I spose that they wanted to replace all unsold stock first, to try and claw some money back towards the cock up, then they can sell again. Us that bought online.....well....they got our money already.:angry::angry::angry:
 
Been to the store buddy during my lunch and now back at the office. I will go again after work and hopefully there will be some left then.

Thanks for letting us know neilski, it looks like we will be waiting longer that the 2 week estimated time then. As you say they will be using the discs they have for new sales and worrying about those that have already bought later.:rolleyes:

Had the same email too, would seem I get replacement disks for a steelbook I sent back dented before I get the replacement steelbook :confused:
