I already have the US version of this title in the lenticular slipcover & Amray case, so no, I have no good reason to open the steelbook (other than curiosity). I assume it is more valuable sealed. As for which disc is in it, I received this note from "thekingpin22uk"...

"i bought it after the recall, and was told this had the fix disc inside."

So who knows. :ohno:
I bought mine instore from my local HMV, they just sold the sealed case &gave you an extra disc seperately from behind the counter. They said it was easier than opening all the stock, so I have a sealed copy with faulty disc inside & the replacement disc in a plastic wallet.

I't wasn't a magnet right? You just cut it out of the slipcover and placed it on a magnetic surface?

Pretty much yeah. Pealed the lenticular off of the cardboard slip then cropped it down to get the digital copy / dvd bar off the top and the critic quote off the bottom. Removed all the glue adhesive from the back with goo gone so the magnetic backing would attach smooth and flat without any bumps.

The adhesive removal is obviously the most time consuming and hardest step.

Thanks for the info  I myself just cut open the connective part of the lenticular Blu-ray slip and re-glued it after I fit it on the HMV Steelbook, because it was too tight. Didn't turn out as nice as yours though :scat:
