Ok guys. Let's leave it there. Personal attacks are not tolerated on HDN. Everyone is free to post on the forum, whether you like their posts or not. People are bound to disagree, that's the nature of forums, if you don't like someone's posts you are free to block them or simply don't read them. Attacks on other members are not welcome here. Can we try and get back on topic. Thanks.
Oh sorry I actually don't really read much of vakira's post so to be honest didn't know why there is so much hostility against him. I see what you mean now.
But then again I don't take too much note to anyone's opinions of steels these days as I kind of have a general feel of what nembers like and dislike and how critical they are. Take it like a pinch of salt.
A lot of opinions are very subjective because of all the fan lovers and members trying to hype their own steels and protect their collection all the time (sorry but it's obvious).
But sometimes there are facts!
Blufans will always make the poorest cardboard slip, that is a fact, Like it or not
To support that I've opened 8 premium blufan steels and they range from utter rubbish to not bad. But that is poor from an experienced premium retailer.
Asian steels in particular have the poorest QC. - Fact. I mean Blufans - WTF?? Nearly every single steel has imperfections. Do they check their steels before even wrapping them???? Two reasons I've gone off Blufans but occasionally make the dip.
Kimchi hit and miss, I've opened two incredibles both have imperfections that are not even worth noting to Tony as it appears he doesn't give a shite and not interested in listening to - is that a fact?
Kimchi Lenti are better than blufans vice Versa etc. That becomes subjective again as IMO both make good lenti's and some are okay.
I don't like O-Ring lenti, 1/4 slips etc again subjective. But you don't need to own these to make a valid subjective comment.
I can go on and on. But it's cost me a fortune to share this experience lol
Of course it's a fine line between having a laugh and going over the top. Some of the comments here can be considered offensive. If a member is constantly posting something you think is inappropriate then report it and a moderator will look at it. Everyone is free to post anywhere they like on the forum, whether they buy those editions or not.Sorry @Sigill but I strongly disagree. I run forums some bigger than this and if one person is constantly disrupting the good nature of that forum something is done about it. Its not a case of ignoring comments, theres always going to be like/hate in anything thats art based, but to constantly berate those buying in those threads, knowing full well now that the member doesn't ever buy those products gets very VERY waring. Other mods have made comments, yet still nothing is done. Its not a case of attacking someone, there's been comment after comment some very disrespectful and yet STILL nothing is done. Theres a big difference between friendly banter and disagreements, and someone knowingly and constantly berating and putting down those not buying "only" UK versions. Its hasn't gone unnoticed by other mods and it certainly hasn't gone unnoticed by members many of whom are wondering why something hasn't been said to that member, to stay out of threads we know full well they have no interest in when all they do is cause hostility!!!!

If you do think someone is being disrespectful or stirring up trouble then again report it and we will look into it. As said before the ignore button is there if someone really bothers you. Some people don't get along, that is bound to happen on any forum. If you feel someone is trying to post things to be argumentative or get attention you can just ignore them. They can't argue with themselves!

I dont block any one pointless in my opinion . I just dont post then you dont have the stress of doing battle with all knowing Numptys.
As long as you have supporting information to debate it's always bit of a popcorn entertainment and makes forums more fun. We do need to have our differences otherwise forums will be dull and boring. What I would say @Flloydo @psychoscot is don't let thread posts battle get the better of you. Let it be fun. flloydo we had our differences with you moaning in every lenti there is lol and how I feel you are little to over the top sometimes! But I don't keep engaging in further conversation with you about it even though you still keep moaning lol. I do have a little poke here and there
I think thats the main reason right there. I don't want to have to block or report anyone, even the person that has angered me so much. When someone constantly goes too far there are mods and admin to act, its just in this case except for a few mods who have made comments this offender keeps going, and it has seen a fair few threads become hostile areas and thats the last thing anyone wants. I joined here and found everyone exceptionally friendly, I've helped people buy from here individually and in turn others have helped me buy abroad, its a fantastic community and I've made many friends both on and off the site, and yeah theres always going to be differing views as thats just life, we like art and pop culture in many different ways. Theres always been a us/them when it comes to international releases, for many different reasons and it was never a problem until recently. I've been here 4 years and, many members and admins/mods have introduced me to releases worldwide be it Wreck on Mondo titles, the Asian guys on Blufans and Kimchi etc. Releases I wouldn't have known about if it wasn't for the knowledge and friendliness of the ninja's, but I do object to a member who has made it very clear they won't be buying outside their country putting their negative opinion in a very non constructive way into every Asian thread, it creates a hostile tone and might even put younger more impressionable members off buy as we aren't all over 40 like I am, theres members of all ages, some of whom might feel pressured into not buying something to seem part of a group. the Group is NINJA and we should all be together regardless of age or country, and I feel a certain member hurts that image with their constant bashing of anything non UK. Other members as you can read here are getting tired of it, it creates a nasty taste and that shouldn't happen on a forum like this. Friendly banter, disagreements on art yes of course, we all like different things, I'd love every steel to have hot women on the front in full gloss but I'm not going to be getting my way anytime soon lol, but I accept others have differing tastes, its time a certain member accepted that too.
Just like you said to me earlier
Nail & Head
Lol and you had you bring your hot women on steels into it lol (not that I would complain)
Anyway I think everything we can say has been said now regarding all angles from members to retailers so I'm signing out of this thread. But it's certainly been interesting and informative

Will do shortly, I was just letting everyone have their say about the cancellation!Thread needs to be locked and closed. @Sigill
Just been reading the moana thread BTW and what the issue was!

IMO short of it was steelarchive didn't have enough interests in their 1000 copies so they made some BS excuse about not getting approval etc. I could be talking nonsense but that's it for those that don't wanna read all the pages.
