You dont spend money that you dont have. If they are financing future projects that is just bad way of running a business.

If were you guys I would contact your credit card or paypal now.

I've never filed a claim on PayPal before, how exactly do you go about it? If you don't mind me asking.

Not at all! I'm not sure if everyone's Paypal interface is the same around the world, but this was the path for me:

The main/home page of your Paypal account should show a list of the recent purchases you've made. Look for the Steelarchive entry in your list and click on it--this will display a drop-down window with information about the purchase. At the bottom-right of that window, click on "Report a problem."

This will open a new window in your browser, with the heading "Reason for dispute." Choose the "I haven't received my item" option near the bottom of the window and hit "Continue." This will take you to a page where you can send an email message to Steelarchive, which will be relayed to them/him through Paypal. After you've entered your message, hit the "Contact Seller" button at the bottom. You're done!
 
A bit of an update from @DuckDogers:




"Don't be surprised if it even takes extended with a response"? Sorry, he's got people's money, there should be no extended responses. There should be a clear cut message to people, on here, in email form & on Facebook that all refunds are being processed immediately.
If he's running a business, then surely he shouldn't be "on the road all week", he should be sorting this.

Everything about this has just annoyed me more & more & that post is the final straw.
He almost makes out that he's the victim & that its all lighthearted.

I filed a claim through PayPal last night that hasn't been responded to yet.

Strange that he's processing some refunds (mainly those who are emailing about them) instead of just doing all refunds together, as he should be doing.

That's why I didn't place my order in the first place. I don't like paying for something in advance and hoping to get it one day. If I pay for it I expect it to be shipped within 24 hours. Dodged a serious caliber bullet there :)
 
I replied to the initial email convo I started (RE: order confirmation) and politely asked when I can expext to receive my refund. Below is his reply from this morning... :facepalm:

There is no excuse for such poor customer service IMO. Not even so much as a simple apology for the inconvenience, let alone the delay in processing refunds as @Strangerbyday quite rightly mentioned.

This was to be my first SteelArchive purchase also... I will have to think very hard on whether to support them again on any future release. That, or I'll simply look to duck n' dodge the @DuckDogers one man show :cautious: :p
Well, it's now late on Thursday night and no refund or update as to what's happening in regards to my refund has been notified. PayPal dispute will be in action tomorrow. Massively poor show @DuckDogers...
 
It's shocking service!.... Still waiting for refund.. Was quick enough to answer questions when enquiring about the purchase.. Grrrrr.... Rant over

Still no refund for me in my account or Paypal

Not sure why mine is taking longer than others who have contacted him

Maybe I should of just gone through PayPal
